چکیده
In this paper, we present a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique based on in situ detection of defects up to 100 °C by ultrasonic (UT) during construction parts metal additive manufacturing technology known as wire arc (WAAM). The proposed makes use interlayer application commercial solder flux serve coupling medium for inspection using special-purpose UT probe. experimental work was carried out deposited ER5356 aluminum straight walls following threefold structure. First, characterization tests with geometrically similar and without highlight its neutrality, no effect the chemical, metallurgical mechanical properties walls. Secondly, at temperatures ranging from room temperature demonstrate satisfactory performance medium, little soundwave amplitude losses or noise. Finally, acoustic attenuation, impedance transmission estimations effectiveness technique, establishing basis future development automated NDT systems processes.
